Elder Moves, Inc. was started in 1989 by Mary Ann Yates, President of Elder Moves, Inc.  Mary Ann had taught special education in Arizona for 5 years.  After a short time away from working to start her family, she re-entered the work force as the Marketing Person for Berg Construction Co. and later the Director of Administration for what was then Mansur Management Corp.  
A single mother, Mary Ann was always looking for avenues to spend more time with her Children and started a cleaning service and built it to two crews when she saw a significant need in the elderly market.  This led to the rewarding career of assisting seniors with their life changes.  Elder Moves has grown from a one person company into having 14 part-time employees and 2 full time employees.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the company to Mary Ann is that as the first of its kind and with publication of articles about the service in Chicago, Milwaukee, Florida, New York and California she has seen more and more seniors assisted throughout the country.
